It does not matter if you are a casual nymph or a competition angler the Shadow II will have enough sensitivity and performance to please you. Light in weight and with a fast action tip that will allow you to feel the subtleties of not just strikes, but bottom contour, current speeds and other critical variances that can effect your success.
Can be used with a floating line when needed to match a hatch if you come across one.
Due to the sensitive nature of the fast tip section we recommend that you take extra care when landing fish, dealing with snags and other instances where added stress can be placed on the tips section. If needed you can purchase spare tip sections as a precautionary measure.
When matching a Euro Nymph rod to a non Euro Nymph line we suggest going up one size in line weight. So for a 3 weight rod use a 4 weight line.
